Shots, shots, shots.  Just kidding.  No tequila involved in the making of this anti-inflammatory, metabolism boosting drink.  Packed with vitamin C, potassium, phosphorous and gingerols, this shot is great for the morning after too!  It will certainly wake you up.  It takes a little effort and there is a small amount of chopping and straining involved.

Serves 2

1 apple cored and diced

80g ginger sliced

20ml fresh lime juice

20ml water

Pinch of cayenne pepper

  1. Whizz everything together in a blender.
  2. Strain the contents through a sieve or cloth. Enjoy!
